Vidas Ginevičius

Vidas Ginevičius (born May 11, 1978 in Kaunas, Lithuania) is a basketball point guard playing for the most successful Lithuanian team Žalgiris, member of Lithuania national basketball team since 2004.

Started in 1999 to play for Statyba (Jonava). The 2000-2001 season signed with Žalgiris, during the season moved to Neptūnas, and since 2001 was back with Žalgiris. For 2003 season was loaned to Alita-Savy (Alytus), but in March 2004 left the team due to financial problems and came back to Žalgiris, at the time was registered only for LKL games.

In the Euroleague season 2004-2005 played 19 games: 6.1ppg, 1.7rpg, 2.6apg, 1.9spg, 2FGP: 58.6%, 3FGP: 37.7%; Baltic League (D1): 20 games: 8.2ppg, 2.1rpg, 3.7apg, 2.5spg, 2.2bpg, FGP: 66%, 3Pts: 50%; LKL: 31 games: 8.8ppg, 2.4rpg, 3.0apg, Steals-1(2.7spg), 1.7bpg, 2FGP: 60,9%, 3FGP: 44,1%

Ginevičius played 6 games in Belgrade at the European Championship 2005 averaging 5.5ppg, 1.2rpg, 2.5apg, 2.2spg, FGP: 33.3%, 3FGP: 27.3%, FT-1 (94.7%)
