Vincenzo Florio Airport , also known as Trapani-Birgi Airport and Birgi Airport, is an airport located in Trapani, Italy. It is one of the five airports in Sicily with civil purposes, but is also used for military issues.
Located 13 km south west of Trapani, and inaugurated in the early 1960s, after a long period of inactivity the airport was relaunched by the Province of Trapani in 2003, and now it hosts several flights, mainly for the minor Sicilian islands and a number of hubs in mainland Italy.
With circa 400,000 passengers yearly, it is the third airport of Sicily for relevance.
