Vinga, Arad

Vinga is a commune in Arad County, west of Romania, south of the county capital Arad, wih a population of about 6,372 inhabitants.
The people in Vinga are mainly Romanians, the second largest ethnic group being Hungarians, and interestingly, a large Bulgarian minority of Catholic faith, known as the Banat Bulgarians.

Even before arriving into the town, one notices the imposing Catholic church. Besides the Catholic church, there is an Orthodox church, a Baptist church, and at least a Pentecostal church.
