Vipera Mobile Applications Network Operator
Vipera is a virtual network operator allowing mobile applications installed on phones to talk to applications installed on a server. "Talking" means exchanging arbitrary data in message form: text, images, business transactions, and so forth.
Vipera offers a replacement to SMS and MMS.
The Vipera Network runs on top of the existing wireline and wireless Internet infrastructure and uses mobile operators as "data bearers", a truly device manufacturers and carriers independent solution.
Application areas are picture messaging, mobile banking, mobile ticketing, mobile chatting and so forth.
