Vipera berus bosniensis is a venomous viper and a subspecies of V. berus found only on the Balkan Peninsula in Europe.
Taxonomy
McDiarmid et al. (1999:402-403) follow Golay et al. (1993:283-284) and recognize bosniensis as a subspecies of V. berus. However, it may represent a distinct species.References
