Virgin of Paris

The Virgin of Paris is often called one of the most decorative statues in all of Catholicism, built during a time of great wealth in the city in which it was constructed. It is in honor of the Blessed Virgin, mother of Jesus.
The statue was commissioned for and still resides in the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris.
