Vitis aestivalis

Vitis aestivalis is any of several varieties of grape native to the United States. One of its cultivars, V. aestivalis var. 'Norton', is believed to be the oldest American grape variety in commercial production. Other varieties include V. aestivalis Michx., also known as the summer grape, and V. aestivalis var. argentifolia, also known as the silverleaf grape.
