W.T. Pfefferle

W.T. Pfefferle is an author and poet born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, in 1958, but who was based in Texas for many years. He now lives in rural Kentucky. His most recent book, Poets on Place tells the story of his year-long trip around American interviewing and photographing American poets like Mark Strand, Rita Dove, Denise Duhamel, Charles Wright, Mark Wunderlich, and Nikki Giovanni.
His family moved to Alexandria, Louisiana when he was still a baby.
Pfefferle fronted a series of rock and blues bands in Texas during the 80s and 90s. Among them Blue Hotel, The Gasoline, Wes Henderson's Madcap Minutemen, and King Hell.
