WHCJ (FM)

WHCJ FM 90.3 is the college radio station of Savannah State University. The station just recently started broadcasting 24 hours a day. Broadcasting from Savannah, Georgia, it covers all of Chatham County, and can also be heard in Effingham, Bryan, Beaufort, and Liberty counties.
Being the radio station of a historically black college and university, WHCJ plays jazz, reggae, gospel, blues, and salsa music in addition to a lineup of talk shows, commentary, and cultural enrichment programs that provide a major source of cultural programming for the African-American community.
