WPRB (103.3 FM) is the college radio station for Princeton University, broadcast from Princeton, New Jersey. Its music consists mostly of independent rock, classical, and jazz. The station also broadcasts some Princeton sporting events. It was founded in 1940 under the call letters WPRU, and it became WPRB in 1955. In that same year it also became an FM station, making it the first college FM station in the country. It is a full class B signal that covers part of both the New York City and Philadelphia markets.
