Wabasca-Desmarais is a large hamlet in northern Alberta.
Located between the South Wabasca and North Wabasca lakes, at the intersection of highway 813 and highway 754, 125 km north-east of Slave Lake, it is home to the two communities of Wabasca and Desmarais. The population is largely Native Canadian. This is the seat of the Wabasca 166 Indian reserve of the Bigstone Cree Nation.
Fishing and hunting are traditional activities, and the settlement also serves the Wabasca oil field.
The community is served by the Wabasca Airport.
