Waitangi

Waitangi is the name of two tiny but important settlements in New Zealand. The name means weeping waters in Māori:
There are also:- Treaty of Waitangi, one of New Zealand's founding documents, named for the settlement in Northland where it was signed.
- Waitangi Day, a public holiday in New Zealand on February 6th each year to commemorate signing the treaty.
