The Wakarusa Music & Camping Festival is a four-day festival held at Clinton Lake, on the edge of Lawrence, Kansas. The name Wakarusa is derived from the nearby Wakarusa River. The festival began in 2004 and featured over seventy artists. It returned in 2005, boasting over eighty performers[link]. The festival is set to return from June 8-11, 2006.
