Walk of Game
Encyclopedia : W : WA : WAL : Walk of Game
The Walk of Game is an area of the Metreon complex building in San Francisco that honors great video game achievements. The awards are chosen through a month long vote held every October on the internet. The top four video and computer games and characters are chosen, as well as two game developers, and are given a permanent star.[Walk of Game–about]. (URL accessed 18 April 2006). It is meant to be similar to Hollywood, California's Walk of Fame. However, it does not receive much publicity and is more of an attraction for the Metreon building.
