Walon Green

Walon Green (b. December 15, 1936 in Baltimore, Maryland) is an American documentary film director and screenwriter for both TV and films. He directed the documentary Journey Through the Secret Life of Plants in 1979. Among his screenwriting credits are the films The Wild Bunch, Eraser and RoboCop 2. On television he worked on episodes of ER and NYPD Blue. His most notable film is the "The Hellstrom Chronicle", which earned him the Academy Award and the BAFTA in 1972.
