The Waterview Tower, is a skyscraper condo-hotel under construction in downtown Chicago, Illinois. Slated for completion in 2009, it will be the fifth tallest building in Chicago (and the third tallest residential building). The building will be 319 meters (1,047 feet and 1/2 inch) tall and contain 90 floors for various uses when completed. The tower is being built on the site where a parking lot has been for over 30 years. Sales for the tower began in May, 2004.

The building was designed by Thomas Hoepf of Teng and Associates and will be the first US location for Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, a five-star 200 room hotel. The hotel will occupy floors 12-27 with residential condominiums on floors 30-88.
