We're All in This Together is a song, featured on the
2006 High School Musical soundtrack. The song peaked at #34 in the
Billboard Hot 100.
The song
- Brief: As the final song of the movie, with solos by Troy, Gabriella, Ryan, and Sharpay, the chorus performs the school chant, which highlights that everyone is at their strongest when they're "all in this together."
It starts as a shy Kelsi (Oleysa Rulin) gets the game ball for having the weird name "playmaker" (because she wrote the winter musical that everyone was obsessing over) and a little help from one of the teams' players and shoots a basketball. As she shoots, the band drummers start the beat of the song and the crowd starts to really get into the song. The cheerleaders come out and do a fantastic cheer while the cast sings "Together...Together..." Then, Troy (
Zac Efron) and Gabriella (
Vanessa Anne Hudgens) each sing a short solo as they come out of the crowd. Everyone does a little chorus like "We're All in This Together...". Then, Ryan (
Lucas Grabeel) and Sharpay (
Ashley Tisdale) each have their little solos as they come out of the crowd. And each time they sing the chorus, the cast gets more numerous. Then, the cast sings their school chant "Wildcats! Sing Along! Yeah, They really got it goin' on!..." After that, Chad (
Corbin Bleu), Taylor (
Monique Coleman), all the basketball players and all of the cheerleaders do a little couple dance. Finally, the
High School Musical cast perform one last chorus and one last chant. "Come On, Everyone!!"
