Wedgie

The wedgie is a joke maneuver done to humiliate someone. It is inflicted when someone grabs the victim's underwear and pulls them up between the buttocks. Used, among other places, in the Dilbert comic.[link] In the animated cartoon on Cartoon Network The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy there is a bully who often gives wedgies to children. In an older show, The Mask, the main hero also used atomic wedgies as a weapon against his enemies. An atomic wedgie refers to when (somehow) the assailant is able to pull the underwear over the victim's head. In fiction, there's one villain that gives wedgies, known as Wedgie Woman in Captain Underpants and the Wrath of the Wicked Wedgie Woman. Many different variations of wedgies have been created throughout the years, each more painful or disgusting than the next. Some groups have been created for victims of wedgies who seek help, others for those who actually want them (?).
