Weisshorn is a mountain in the Swiss Alps, west of Zermatt and north of the Matterhorn.
The mountain was first climbed in 1861 by John Tyndall and J. J. Bennen. The south face was first climbed in 1895 by J. M. Biner, A. Imboden and E. Broome.
