Werner Munzinger

Werner Munzinger (1832 - 7 November 1875) was a Swiss administrator and explorer of Africa. He was killed in the Battle of Agurdat (in Agordat, present-day Eritrea), where he was the leader of the Egyptian expedition against Ethiopia.
