West Equatoria

West Equatoria (Arabic: غرب الاستوائية; transliterated: Gharb al-Istiwa'iyah) is one of the 26 wilayat or states of Sudan. It has an area of 79,319 km² and an estimated population of 360,000 (1983). Its capital is Yambio.
