The Whifflet Line is one of the lines within the Strathclyde suburban rail network in Scotland. It opened in 1993 and serves only 8 stations. It connects parts of east Glasgow, Bargeddie and Coatbridge to Glasgow city centre. The places served are listed below:

The route is operated by First ScotRail on behalf of Strathclyde Passenger Transport as part of the larger Strathclyde network. The line has not yet been electrified and services are operated using Class 156 diesel multiple units.

The line was built between 1861 and 1863 as the Rutherglen to Coatbridge [Whifflet] branch of the Caledonian Railway.It opened to goods traffic [mainly coal and iron]in September,1863 and to passengers in November,1865. It has been in continuous operation ever since.
