White-tailed Jackrabbit

The White-tailed Jackrabbit, Lepus townsendii is a hare found in western North America. This animal is a member of Family Leporidae of Order Lagomorpha. It is also commonly called the "Prairie Hare" and the "White Jack."
This jackrabbit has two described subspecies: L. townsendii townsendii and L. townsendii campanius.
