White Carniola

White Carniola (Slovenian: Bela krajina; German: ) is a traditional region in southeastern Slovenia on the border with Croatia. Major towns are Metlika, Črnomelj, and Semič and the principal river is the Kolpa. There are some lower hills and birch trees. It's a wine region with very good quality wines.Main river is (mostly border river) Kolpa.
