Wil is a city in the Canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland, with a population of 16,745.

It is a railway node, being located on the train line from Zurich-Winterthur to St. Gallen and connected with lines to Frauenfeld, Weinfelden-Constance and Wattwil - Nesslau (Toggenburg) or Rapperswil.

The city is close to the border with the Canton of Thurgau.
