Wilhelm Gericke

Wilhelm Gericke (born 18 May, 1845, Schwanberg, died 27 October 1925) was an Austrian conductor. He studied in Vienna before directing opera in Linz and Vienna, where he gave the Viennese premiere of Wagner's Tannhauser. He then worked in the United States conducting the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
