The airline was established in 2003 and operations started on 13 August 2003. The company is 25% owned by Tim Roman (President of the airline) and employs 270 staff.

Domestic scheduled destinations to (at January 2005): Gbadolite, Gemena, Goma, Isiro, Kananga, Kindu, Kinshasa, Lubumbashi, Mbandaka and Mbuji-Mayi.
