Appearances

Even though the Wise Old Man looks frail and rather old, he showed great power in the quest Swan Song.

When the Wise Old Man was first introduced, he was scraggly-looking. But, after the Draynor Bank Robbery, he now sports a very expensive holiday item, a Party hat, along with a very powerful Saradomin staff, also with various other expensive items in his house. Members will find that if they talk to a NPC outside his house, they can learn about a bank robbery. If the player goes over to a tree outside of Draynor Bank, they have the option to talk to it. The tree contains a bank guard, which you can view a video of the Draynor Bank Robbery from. The video contains the Wise Old Man entering the bank, and striking players and bankers with his Saradomin Staff. He then steals the drops of the players.

The Wise Old Man can give players information about different things in the game. He also asks players to perform several menial tasks for a small reward.
