"Wish I Had an Angel" is the second single from the Once album by Nightwish. It was released in 2004. The song features both Marco's and Tarja's voices.
"Wish I Had an Angel" was featured on the soundtrack of the movie Alone in the Dark. The "Wish I Had an Angel" Music Video is also a special feature on the Alone in the Dark DVD.
While the song itself isn't a major departure from the Nightwish-sound, the album's harder edge has its mark on this title as well; the chorus is emphasized by a 4/4 drum machine beat, delivering the song close to a Rammstein-like sound.
