Witham Friary
Encyclopedia : W : WI : WIT : Witham Friary
Witham Friary is a small village between the Somerset (England) towns of Frome and Bruton. It is reached from each direction by narrow winding roads giving it a sense of isolation. There is at the time of writing (Winter 2005), a traditional English public house where a decent glass of scrumpy (rough cider) can be bought.
