Wood-Tikchik State Park

Encyclopedia : W : WO : WOO : Wood-Tikchik State Park

Wood-Tikchik State Park is a state park in the U.S. state of Alaska north of Dillingham. At over 1.6 million acres (6,500 km²) in area—about the size of the state of Delaware—it is the second-largest state park in the United States, behind only Adirondack State Park in New York, and the largest contiguous state park.

It is one of only two state parks in western Alaska, along with the much smaller Lake Aleknagik State Recreation Site.
