World Politics is an academic journal founded in 1948. It publishes articles from all subdisciplines of political science. Material might historical in nature, current affairs, journalistic, or policy-oriented. It includes research on all topics of import in the field of international affairs. According to the 2001 [ISI Journals Citation Report], it is the most cited journal in the field of international relations. The editors are Doctors Harold James and Ilene P. Cohen of Princeton University.
The journal is published quarterly in October, January, April, and July. Circulation is 2,830 and the average length of an issue is 156 pages.
