WrestleMania 2 was the second annual WrestleMania professional wrestling pay-per-view event from the World Wrestling Federation (although the first WrestleMania was technically not on pay-per-view). It took place on April 7, 1986 at three venues:
- The Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena in Los Angeles, California
- The Rosemont Horizon in Chicago, Illinois
- The Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Uniondale, New York

Nassau Coliseum
- "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff wrestled The Magnificent Muraco to a "double countout (4:33).
- Randy "Macho Man" Savage defeated George "The Animal" Steele with a roll up and both feet on the ropes to retain the Intercontinental Championship (7:07).
- Jake "The Snake" Roberts defeated George Wells with the DDT (3:08).
- Mr. T defeated "Rowdy" Roddy Piper by disqualification in a boxing match after Piper slammed T in the 4th round. (13:20).
Rosemont Horizon
- The Fabulous Moolah defeated Velvet McIntyre to retain the WWF Women's Championship when Velvet missed a "flying splash" from the second rope, allowing Moolah to splash her for the quick win at fifty-six seconds.
- Corporal Kirschner defeated Nikolai Volkoff in a flag match when Kirshner intercepted Blassie's attempt to throw Volkoff his cane.
- The British Bulldogs (Davey Boy Smith and The Dynamite Kid) defeated The Dream Team (Greg Valentine & Brutus Beefcake) to win the WWF Tag Team Championship after Smith threw Valentine into the Bulldogs' corner, where Valentine and Dynamite collided head-to-head.
- André the Giant won a twenty man battle royal that included both wrestlers and several NFL stars, introduced in this order: Jimbo Covert (NFL Star of the Chicago Bears), Pedro Morales, Tony Atlas, Ted Arcidi, Harvey Martin (Former NFL Star of the Dallas Cowboys), Danny Spivey, Hillbilly Jim, King Tonga, the Iron Sheik, Ernie Holmes (Former NFL Star of the Pittsburgh Steelers), B. Brian Blair (one half of the Killer Bees), "Jumpin’" Jim Brunzell (one half of the Killer Bees), Big John Studd, Bill Fralic (NFL Star of the Atlanta Falcons), Bret "the Hitman" Hart (one half of the Hart Foundation), Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart (one half of the Hart Foundation), Russ Francis (NFL Star of the San Francisco 49ers), Bruno Sammartino, and William "Refrigerator" Perry (NFL Star of the Chicago Bears).
Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena
- Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat defeated Hercules Hernandez with a Flying Body Press.
- "Adorable" Adrian Adonis defeated Uncle Elmer with a Flying Headbutt.
- Terry Funk & Hoss Funk defeated the Junk Yard Dog and Tito Santana after Terry Funk hit JYD with Jimmy Hart's megaphone.
- Hulk Hogan defeated King Kong Bundy in a steel cage match to retain the WWF Heavyweight Championship after powerslamming and leg-dropping Bundy.

Trivia
- This was the first WrestleMania to feature one of the Hebner brothers (Dave Hebner).
- This was the first WrestleMania to feature a ref bump.
- This was Mr. T's final WWF appearance as a competitor.
- This was the first time (and only time as of WrestleMania 22) that the WWF Championship was contested in a Steel Cage match at WrestleMania.
- This is, to date, also the only standard cage match in WrestleMania history.
- Davey Boy Smith and Bret Hart would return to the Rosemont Horizon for WrestleMania 13. There, Smith and Owen Hart retained their World Tag Team Championship after they fought Vader and Mankind to a double countout. Also, Hart defeated "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in a submission match.
- Hercules, Tito Santana, and Hulk Hogan would all return to the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena for WrestleMania VII. There, Hercules and Paul Roma lost to the Legion of Doom; Santana lost to The Mountie, and Hogan beat Sgt. Slaughter for the WWF Championship.
- Bill Fralic would later reappear in the WWF on July 4, 1993 at the WWF Stars and Stripes Challenge, where he attempted to bodyslam Yokozuna.
- This is, to date, the only WrestleMania event not to be held on a Sunday (It was held on a Monday).
- WrestleMania XX, WrestleMania 21, and WrestleMania 22 would take place from the three locations that hosted WrestleMania 2 (WrestleMania XX from New York, WrestleMania 21 from Los Angeles, and WrestleMania 22 from Chicago).
- Herb was the guest time keeper for the main event in New York. His face was finally shown for the first time after his Burger King campaign was a flop.
- This is the first WrestleMania to be shown on pay per view. (The first WrestleMania was shown on closed circuit only).
