WrestleMania X was the tenth annual WrestleManiaprofessional wrestlingpay-per-view event from the World Wrestling Federation. It took place at Madison Square Garden in New York City on March 20, 1994. The event was attended by 18,065 people. Little Richard was on hand to sing "America the Beautiful" with a gospel choir to open the festivities. The commentators for the event were Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
Ramon climbed the ladder and retrieved both belts after Michaels became entangled in the ring ropes. Ramon retained the WWF Intercontinental Championship. (18.47)

Bret Hart competed in the first and last match of the show.
The Intercontinental title match was the first ladder match shown on a WWF pay-per-view.
If one watches carefully, it is obvious that Little Richard is lip-synching "America the Beautiful" during the opening ceremony.
Last Wrestlemania to use the "Titan Sports" WWF logo, the next Wrestlemania would use the WWF "New Generation" slant logo.

The ladder match and the Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart match are widely regarded as two of the best matches of the decade.
Bret and Owen Hart originally planned to put on a match akin to the Randy Savage/Ricky Steamboat match from WrestleMania III (with numerous pinfall attempts and reverses); when they attempted to put on a match of that kind at house shows, however, audiences did not respond as well as they may have hoped. To combat this, they went to their father, Stu Hart, for guidance and put together the basic match outline mere hours before WrestleMania X began.
This was only the second-of-three Wrestlemania event to be held in Madison Square Garden. MSG also hosted WrestleMania XX and the first WrestleMania.
This is the final WrestleMania appearance of referee Joey Marella, who unfortunately died on July 4, 1994 in a car accident.

This was the first and only WrestleMania where the WWF Championship was advertised as being defended twice due to a coin-toss. The title was defended twice at the previous year's WrestleMania IX, but the second of the two title matches was unadvertised.
This was the final WrestleMania appearance of Randy Savage who went to WCW shortly after.
A 10-man tag match was arranged for this event featuring the 1-2-3 Kid, Sparky Plugg, Tatanka and The Smoking Gunns vs. Irwin R. Schyster, Jeff Jarrett, Rick Martel and The Headshrinkers; due to the ladder match running longer than expected, however, the match had to be postponed. This was explained on-screen by a backstage scene where the latter team couldn't agree who would be team captain. The contest was held on the following episode of Monday Night RAW, where I.R.S. pinned The 1-2-3 Kid for the victory.
Despite creating the event and being a regular WWF commentator for the previous ten years, this was the first full WrestleMania that Vince McMahon commentated on. He had previously commentated on the New York portion of WrestleMania 2.
Jerry "The King" Lawler made his return to the World Wrestling Federation at WrestleMania X. Lawler had been absent since November 1993 due to a charge of raping a young girl in Memphis, Tennessee (Lawler had been substituted by Shawn Michaels at the Survivor Series the previous year).

The fourth consecutive WrestleMania (and sixth overall) to feature a title match ending in a count out or disqualification - the second in a row to have two title bouts end in a count out or disqualification. It was the third time for the tag titles, but the first (and only) time for a WWF title match to end via DQ at WrestleMania.
