Ranked ) is a county borough centered on the town of Wrexham in north-east Wales. It covers parts of the traditional county of Denbighshire around Wrexham itself, and the detached parts of the traditional county of Flintshire - English Maelor and Marford.

The county borough was formed on April 1, 1996. Most of the area was previously part of the Welsh district of Wrexham Maelor - with a few areas coming from Glyndwr.

The county borough has a population of 130,000 inhabitants and is made up of communities of:
