Xuanwu District/Precinct (Simplified Chinese: }}}; pinyin: ) is a precinct of the municipality of Beijing. It lies to the southwest of the old city.

It is 17 square kilometres in area, making it the third-largest district in the old city part of Beijing, and is home to 410,000 inhabitants (2002). Its postal code is 100054. Before the communist takeover, it was one of the precinct where most poverty-stricken populace resided (The other precinct with high poverty-stricken population is the Chongwen precinct).
