Yago Bellon

Yago Bellon (born August 28 1989 in St. Gallen) is a Swiss midfielder playing for Aston Villa.

Yago, twin brother to Damian Bellon, signed for Aston Villa for an undisclosed amount on 11 July 2006, alongside his brother. Yago, naturally a winger, joined FC St. Gallen aged just 13, however he was soon snapped up by Grasshopper-Club Zürich just months later. Merely 6 months later, Yago then returned to FC St. Gallen, where he has been since March 2003. After impressive displays for his hometown club, Yago Bellon was then selected to play for Switzerland U17's (after catching the eye of Aston Villas Academy Director Bryan Jones, in a match against Wales U17's). In total, he has gained 8 caps for the Swiss U17s and he wears the number 14.
