Yarmouth Mariners

The Yarmouth Mariners are a Tier-II Junior "A" team based out of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. They play in the Maritime Junior A Hockey League. All home games are played out of the 1750 seat Mariners Centre. The season usually runs from mid-September to early March every year.

The Mariners entered the league in 2002 they were moved from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia as the Dartmouth Blizzards due to poor crowd attendance.

The team is also known to draw some of the largest crowds in the Maritime Junior A Hockey League, and have placed 2nd in average attendance the last few years, only behind the Weeks Crushers.

The Mariners hosted the Fred Page Cup 2005, but they lost in the final.
