Yegoryevsk

Yegoryevsk (Russian: ) is a town in Moscow Oblast, Russia, located roughly 100 km southeast of Moscow. Population: 68,303 (2002); 68,000 (1971); 56,000 (1939); 29,700 (1926). Yegorievsk is known to have existed since the 15th century.

The city is home to many historic buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries, as well as a museum with both art and artifacts of daily life in earlier centuries.
