Yellow-headed Temple Turtle

A rather large turtle native to Southeast Asia (Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, etc.) and is called as such due to the tendancy to find these turtles near the Buddhist temples in the native area.

These are aquatic turtles that grow over 20 inches in size. They have been reported to live in captivity for up to 9.3 years. They are generally herbivorous creatures.
