Yogi's Gang (produced by Hanna-Barbera in 1973) brings Yogi Bear and Boo Boo accompanied with various Hanna-Barbera classical characters (as Huckleberry Hound, Quick Draw McGraw, Snagglepuss, Wally Gator, Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy, Magilla Gorilla, Peter Potamus, Atom Ant, Secret Squirrel, Ricochet Rabbit, Yippee, Yappee and Yahooey, Touché Turtle, Lippy the Lion, Squiddly Diddly among others), who appear flying around the world in a flying ark searching for a paradise to call home, some place without pollution or crime. It began as a special TV Movie on ABC designed to raise awareness of ecological damage to the planet.
The movie and the series was lampooned by Marvel Comics in the 1980's in a Spider-Ham story (one of his many apperances in the Marvel humour anthology comic "What The...?!") where Yogi and the gang attempt to steal a NASA rocket and relocate to another planet instead of finding paradise on Earth
During the trajectory of this series, Yogi and his friends cross themselves with a collection of villains like Mr. Pollution, Mr. Smog, Lotta Litter, the Envy Brothers, Mr. Hothead, Mr. Bigot, the Gossipy Witch, Mr. Vandal, the Sheik of Selfishness, Mr. Fibber, the Prankster, and the Greedy Genie who incarnate some of the most common human faults and vices.
