The Yuwen (Simplified Chinese: }}}; Traditional Chinese: ; pinyin: ) was a pre-state tribe of Xianbei and Xiongnu ethnicity during the era of Sixteen Kingdoms in China. Its descendants established the Northern Zhou Dynasty in the 6th century.
