ZAGNUT is a candy bar popular in the United States that was originally launched in 1930. It was acquired by The Hershey Company in 1996. Its main ingredients are peanut butter and toasted coconut, and weighs 1.75 ounces (50 g). Also, very uncommon for a candy bar, it contains no chocolate.
Appearances in pop culture

- Zagnut bars also appear in the movies Seems Like Old Times and The Great Outdoors.
- Snake uses a Zagnut to rob the Kwik-E-Mart in a The Simpsons comic book.
- In 48 Hours, Jack Cates (Nick Nolte) angrily purchases a candy bar from the precinct candy machine for Reggie Hammond (Eddie Murphy), who has been whining for dinner. Says Cates: "Here's your Goddamn dinner!" It is, of course, a Zagnut.
