Zapp (album)

Zapp is the debut album for Ohio P-Funk band Zapp. It features the well popular hit More Bounce to the Ounce which was featured in the and was sampled by Snoop Dogg, Notorious B.I.G and Low Profile. There are six songs in the album which are approximately 6-9 mins long.
The album came out when George Clinton's P-Funk era was toning down and Zapp would prevail their funk music in the 80's and the group themselves were mentored by George Clinton and Bootsy Collins.
Some of the songs featured in the album like "Be Alright" would later on be sampled by West Coast rappers such as Dr. Dre.
