Zaynab (Arabic: زينب died November, 624) bint Khuzayma was one of the wives of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. Following her husband's death at the battle of Badr (March 17, 624), Zaynab asked Muhammad to marry her. She died eight months after the marriage.
Kinanah ibn Rabi is the brother-in-law of Zaynab bint Khuzayma.
Zaynab can also be written as Zainab.
