A zettabyte (derived from the SI prefix zetta-) is a unit of information or computer storage equal to one sextillion (one long scale trilliard) bytes. It is commonly abbreviated ZB.

A zettabyte is often also used to mean 2 to the 70th power (1,180,591,620,717,411,303,424) bytes, or 1024 exabytes. The term zebibyte has been coined (though is not official) which is a non-ambiguous term for this meaning.
