Zhokhova Island

Zhokhova Island (Остров Жохова in Russian) is one of the islands in a group of the De Long Islands in the East Siberian Sea. Area: approx. 58 sq km. The highest point of the island is 123 m.
Zhokhova Island was discovered by a Russian hydrographic expedition on the ships Vaigach and Taymyr. It is named after A.Zhokhov, a member of the expedition.
