Zia Mody, currently a Senior Partner of AZB & Partners, is a prominent Indian legal consultant. Her expertise include corporate merger & acquisitions, securities law, private equity and project finance.

Education

The daughter of noted Indian advocate, Soli Sorabjee, her initial education was at Elphinston College, Mumbai. She did her higher studies at the Cambridge and the Harvard Law School. She also passed the New York Bar examination, and is qualified as New York attorney. In New York, she worked for five years with Baker & McKenzie.

Achievements

Business Today nominated her in 2004 as one of the twenty-five most powerful business women in India. She is also the recipient of Knowledge Professional of the Year Award by the Financial Express.
