Zion y Lennox are a reggaeton duo from Puerto Rico. They are one of the most known faces in the reggaeton genre, and are very much loved in their native land.
Though they have been singing for a long time, they failed to get the recognition they deserved. This all changed when they were giving spots on Blin Blin Vol.1, where they made their first hit, "Yo Voy", alongside Daddy Yankee. This made them more recognized, and they started appearing on more artist's albums. After making hit after hit in albums such as Los Cazadores, Mas Flow 2, among others, they released their first album, Motivando a la Yal, in 2004.
The album would surpass everyone's expectations. With hits such as "Doncella", "Bandida", among many others, the album easily reached gold status. With the reggaeton genre now becoming a worldwide phenomenon, Zion and Lennox's popularity increased even more. Motivando a la Yal Special Edition was released shortly thereafter.
Both Zion and Lennox are very much active in going solo, with Zion making a hit with "Yo Voy a Llegar", and Lennox appearing solo on more and more albums. Despite this, they still enjoy making songs together, hardly ever fighting with each other.
The biggest thing that separates Zion and Lennox from other reggaeton artists is that their songs stray away from sex and partying, which is what most reggaeton songs are about.
