Glenn Russell Borken (born 1953) is a poet, author, and philosopher.

Glenn R. Borken was born on October 19, 1953, on Manhatten Island, New York City. He is the son of the late Dr. Norman Borken and his wife Selma Borken.[link] He grew up in South Florida where he was exposed to many environmental influences that started him writing poetry in elementary school. He attended Florida State University, where he received a degree in Communications and Foreign Languages. After 12 years in the United States Navy as a Medical Laboratory Technician, he returned to Florida, where he currently lives. Borken has a few published works, mainly poetry and short fiction. He is best known for his Sonnet to Diana of Tuscany and Ballad of Young Nathan. His works have been regarded as very "dark" or "shadowy". His interests in Kabbalah, Buddhism and Taoism are heavily evident in his works. His older sisters, Sharon and Marian, are both accomplished artists. His younger sister, Vicki, is well-known for her appearances on the talk show Maury.[link]
